As a junior in high school, I spent a year in Surat Thani, Thailand as an exchange student through AFS (American Field Service). Before that time, I had never kept a diary. However, during my time in Thailand, I kept a journal every day, and as a way of reliving my experience, I'm going to share it, one day at a time, here.

I realized today that I can add pictures to this blog, so this is the first of several, I hope. This is from the area around the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok.
I am sooo happy that you can add pictures! It just adds to the joy of the whole experience. :)
